Description:Our client is a very progressive excess and surplus lines carrier. They are hiring the best talent in the industry!Currently, they seek a production underwriter to work in the east. This is a very visible position with the company. About 60 - 75% of the time, you will be visiting with their agents/brokers to develop new business opportunities. With your laptop computer, you will be able to quote and bind business for these agents right on the spot! Your other responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing competitor data, analyzing the market, developing relationships with brokers. This is an exciting new opportunity! Our client would prefer to have someone located in one of the following cities: Hartford, CT; New York, NY; or Phildelphia, PA.
